Web3 RPG Tales of Elleria is no longer in active development, but the game will stay online for the time being as the developers have launched a final World Boss event and PvP update.
This was not a decision that the Tales of Elleria developers made lightly. They recently informed their community via Discord that the team had been forced to make this decision since the game wasn’t generating enough income for them to continue its development.
Tales of Elleria will stay online for its fan base to continue enjoying the game until the remaining server funds are depleted.
What is Tales of Elleria?
Tales of Elleria is a 3D Arbitrum-based adventure role-playing game that invites players to summon heroes, complete quests and go on epic adventures in unknown lands.
Players must build a squad of elite heroes and account for their varying strengths and weaknesses. These heroes are on-chain assets that come in four classes; Warrior, Assassin, Mage and Ranger.
Players can send their heroes questing outside the gates of Elleria to defeat monsters for rewards like relics, gear $ELM, Medals and NFTs. In these quests players face off against enemies in Pokemon-style turn-based battles.

What to expect from Tales of Elleria’s final update
Tales of Elleria’s closing ceremony has begun with the addition of a PvP update that will allow players to go head to head in strategic battles. Though a lack of funding meant that the developers were unable to achieve their more ambitious plans of creating the team-combat simulation that they had initially planned.
There is also a final World Boss event from September 5th to 16th where the community will come together one last time to take down the latest boss Zorag.
Players will be ranked by the damage they deal the boss and the top 200 will share the 50,000 $ARB prize pool (worth approximately $26,000 at the time of writing). All rewards will be distributed by September 16th.
It is expected that the Tales of Elleria servers will remain online for at least sixth months as long as they are active and players continue trading tokens and playing the game. The Tales of Elleria team has also assured the community that they will not be selling their $ELM tokens.
