This is the latest of a series of developments on Ronin that are intended to showcase the Open Ronin philosophy. This philosophy – which looks to open the floodgates to new games, applications and platforms on Ronin – signals the next stage of the Ronin ecosystem, and is set to officially debut in Q1 2025.
Through Tama Meme, users can create their own Ronin-based token for a 1 $RON fee – or trade a wide array of other Ronin-based tokens launched through the platform.

What is Tama Meme?
Tama Meme is a fair launch token launchpad, built on Ronin.
The site operates in a similar fashion to Solana-based token launchpad Pump.fun. Users can create their own Ronin-based token for a fee of 1 $RON, choosing a unique name, ticker, image and description. As a fair launch platform, there are no presales or tokens held in reserve – the full supply is publicly available as soon as the token is launched.
Tama Meme has a flat 1% fee on all trades – though the use of referral codes can allows users to save on fees and earn additional rewards. If the market cap of a token reaches $80.5k USD, the token migrates to Ronin-based decentralised exchange Katana, where it becomes available to trade in the wider market.

What impact will Tama Meme have on Ronin?
Until recently, Ronin had been known as a Layer-2 blockchain with a specific focus on blockchain games. Through popular titles such as Axie Infinity, Pixels and Wild Forest, Ronin became – and is currently – the leading blockchain in terms of player count for NFT gaming.
Q1 2025 has seen Ronin embrace their Open Ronin philosophy. This aims to expand Ronin’s roster of games – but to also facilitate the launch of other products, tools and platforms on the network, in areas such as AI and DeFi.
Two weeks ago, Ronin partnered with Virtuals to release the @jAIhoz_ AI agent social media profile, whilst last month saw gaming prediction market Forkast also make its debut on Ronin.
