The Sandbox Launch Update 0.11, New Features Now Live

Popular metaverse platform The Sandbox has pushed Update 0.11 for both its Game Client and Game Maker services, introducing a wide array of new features and improvements.

Amongst the highlights of Update 0.11, players can now enjoy an updated camera, player animations and in-game movement tweaks. Graphical and quality-of-life improvements have also been added that serve to make The Sandbox more enjoyable than ever, with a better map carousel and improved anti-cheat services to boot.

This follows a stellar period for The Sandbox, with the game having a big presence at major industry event NFT Paris 2025, and renewed interest in their ecosystem token $SAND in recent months.

What is The Sandbox?

The Sandbox is a free-to-play blockchain-based metaverse platform, built on Ethereum, and available on PC.

First launched in 2018, the game sees players explore an expansive open world, where they can purchase and develop plots of land to create games, experiences and attractions.
