The Sandbox has opened the final land sale of its AdventureWorld virtual district with the launch of its Wildlands LAND sale from April 23 to May 7, bringing AdventureWorld’s multi-phase rollout to a close, following earlier sales in 2024.
A total of 577 LAND plots are available, located next to digital areas inspired by well-known franchises including Bruce Lee, Jurassic World, and the British Museum.
The Wildlands sits between two previously established neighbourhoods—Defender District, known for hosting Attack on Titan-related content, and Brawlers Ring, associated with King Kong of Skull Island.
How will the LAND sale work?
The 577 available plots are distributed across different categories:
- 486 Standard LANDs
- 28 Premium LANDs
- Remaining plots sold via auctions and raffles (GBM and MOOAR)
Two platforms—GBM and MOOAR—are facilitating the sale through a combination of direct purchase, timed auctions, and raffles.
GBM will conduct auctions using its “bid-to-earn” model, where participants are awarded $SAND tokens each time they are outbid. The auction catalogue includes:
- 2 Premium LAND plots
- 6 Standard LAND plots
- 3 Estate bundles (each 3×3 LANDs)
- 1 Large estate (6×6 LANDs)
Whilst the multi-chain marketplace MOOAR will offer:
- 26 Standard LANDs via raffle mint
- 6 Standard LANDs via timed auctions
- 2 Premium LANDs via timed auctions (located near the Bruce Lee district)
Each Premium LAND purchase comes with additional physical and digital items. Buyers are randomly assigned to either the Bruce Lee or Jurassic World reward pool.
Examples of these rewards include a Bruce Lee holographic skateboard, Jurassic World Raptor Blue Figurine, the Legendary T.rex Egg and more.
How to participate in the sale?
To take part in the sale, interested participants must:
- Create a Sandbox account and link a compatible digital wallet.
- Visit the official sale page via The Sandbox’s X announcement or directly on the platform.
- For GBM auctions, bidding opens on May 7 and runs for seven days.
- For MOOAR, the raffle and timed auction system also begins on May 7, with each event lasting three days.
In order to claim digital assets and physical rewards, users must ensure their Sandbox account email is up to date and linked to their wallet used in the sale.
