AI-powered social simulation game, Today, has announced its free Mythic Seed Event is coming in Q3 this year. Mythic Seeds are rare in-game items that grant players access to exclusive gameplay features in the Today ecosystem.
There will be 5,555 Mythic Seeds available to mint on Ethereum and players can earn a spot on the allowlist by being active members of the Today community, entering raffles and by holding an Ancient Seed.
Today’s Ancient Seeds successfully minted in a similar format back in April this year. The Ancient Seeds are currently available on secondary market place like OpenSea and, at the time of writing, have a floor price of 1.45 ETH (approximately $2,400).

Mythic Seed mint details
Mythic Seeds are the second rarest asset in the Today ecosystem. Owning a Mythic Seed grants players exclusive access to the in-game staking platform known as The Garden. In The Garden players can grow and stake rare fruits to earn seed points which are used to upgrade players’ islands and unlock exclusive in-game items.
With 5,555 ETH-based Mythic Seeds up for grabs free of charge places on the allowlist are highly coveted. To secure one, interested players must take part in Premint raffles, be an active member of Today’s official Discord community, or hold an Ancient Seed, the rarest item in the game.
A spot on the whitelist can also be purchased with Nectar, Today’s off-chain reward system, which is earned by interacting and helping out Today’s Discord community.
Gathering enough Seed Fragments will also grant a player a spot on the allowlist. Seed Fragments are earned through positive engagement with Today’s various social media accounts.
