TOKEN2049, the world’s largest web3 and crypto event, is set to return to Singapore this September. This highly anticipated semi-annual event is scheduled for September 18-19 at the Marina Bay Sands, just before the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024 race weekend.
TOKEN2049 is set to welcome 20,000 people from 150 nations and is already close to maximum capacity, with 90% of its exhibition area already filled – and as such, tickets prices are set to increase later today, 28 June, at 11:59 PM (GMT+8).
‘Ticketing and exhibition demands has already surpassed all previous records,” says Alex Fiskum, Co-Founder of TOKEN2049. “We are only at the beginning of what promises to be the most consequential web3 event in the world.”
What can we expect from TOKEN2049 Singapore?
The latest iteration of TOKEN2049, as with previous editions, will combine the latest in immersive technology and entertainment. Four floors of the Marina Bay Sands venue have been dedicated to creating fun, immersive activities for guests that utilise next-generation web3 technology.
From interactive VR areas and AI-generated art experiences to an indoor rock-climbing wall, cage football and many more, there will be an abundance of attractions for guests attending TOKEN2049 Singapore. 500 side events have also been organised throughout the city to keep visitors entertained all week, from the 16-22 September.
Adding to the unique experiences, TOKEN2049-branded buses and trishaws will be available to whisk attendees around Singapore’s bustling streets.
This year’s event feature the launch of the TOKEN2049 Startup Challenge, designed to spotlight up-and-coming web3 projects. From a wide array of global applicants, 10 chosen projects will get a chance to showcase their vision to TOKEN2049’s global audience.

Over 200 esteemed speakers are expected to attend, including the likes of Binance CEO Richard Teng, Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko, founder of The Network State Balaji Srinivasan, and infamous whistleblower Edward Snowden to name a few, with more big names set to be announced in the coming months.
