Ubisoft is set to release Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E., a competitive multiplayer shooter, on the Ethereum layer-2 Arbitrum network next week.
The game draws inspiration from the Netflix animated series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix and features characters from popular Ubisoft franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and Beyond Good & Evil.
Additionally, a free NFT mint associated with the game was launched on the Magic Eden on December 11.

What is Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.?
Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E. is a dystopian multiplayer shooter that combines characters and elements from several Ubisoft franchises.
Drawing from the Netflix series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, which is inspired by the Far Cry games, it creates a crossover universe with characters from Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and Beyond Good & Evil.
The game adopts a top-down perspective and emphasizes competitive multiplayer gameplay whilst blending various storylines and themes from Ubisoft’s existing IPs.

What are the benefits to holding Niji Warrior NFTs?
The game features a blockchain component through the Niji Warrior NFT collection, consisting of 10,000 pixelated NFTs depicting robots and creatures.
These NFTs allow holders to contribute to game development by providing feedback on mechanics, map designs, and storyline elements. Additionally, players may unlock perks and evolve their tokens based on their engagement within the game.
The project is a collaboration with the Arbitrum Foundation and web3 gaming platform Sequence developed by Horizon.
