Originally launched as “Xai Play,” Raijin is offering Steam users the opportunity to win prizes worth up to $10,000 by engaging with selected games.
The system tracks players’ Steam achievements and converts them into points, which can then be used to enter contests and giveaways. Unlike many blockchain-based gaming projects, Raijin does not require any cryptocurrency knowledge, wallet setup, or purchases.
Users simply connect their existing Steam account and complete basic tasks such as wishlisting games and watching trailers.

What is Raijin?
Raijin is a gaming rewards platform developed by Ex Populus and built on the XAI blockchain network.
It supports over 40,000 Steam games and uses players’ in-game achievements to allocate points automatically. These points can then be used to enter prize draws, participate in leaderboards, or redeem real-world rewards.
Despite its blockchain technology foundation, Raijin does not require users to manage cryptocurrency wallets or purchase NFTs, making it accessible to traditional gamers.

What games are available on the platform?
As of writing, Raijin currently features prize campaigns for games including Sparkball and BADMAD ROBOTS, which are both web3 titles with upcoming releases on Steam. Each game offers giveaway campaigns where users can earn entries by wishlisting the game and watching its trailer. The prize pools increase in size as more users participate, with the potential to reach up to $10,000 per game.
Raijin also runs a monthly leaderboard contest called the “Monthly Meltdown” where participants earn points from their Steam achievements and ongoing event participation. The total prize pool for this contest can reach $50,000, with other rewards including gaming consoles and accessories.
To join these prize campaigns, users need to create an account on Raijin’s website and link their Steam profile. Once connected, achievements from supported games are automatically tracked and converted into points. Users enter giveaways by completing simple actions such as wishlisting games and watching trailers on Steam.
No purchases or cryptocurrency transactions are necessary but maintaining the connection between Steam and Raijin and keeping games on the wishlist is required to remain eligible for prizes.
