Wild Forest Debut Campfire Feature, Maximize Gold Earnings

Ronin-based Web3 strategy game Wild Forest has debuted their Campfire feature, allowing players to accumulate passive in-game Gold for free.

This update makes it much easier for all players – regardless of held assets – to use gold to upgrade their in-game units. Holders of Lord NFTs will received a boosted rate of Gold accumulation and additional storage, thought the update generally makes non-holders more competitive.

The update comes alongside the debut of Season 4, with an expansion in leaderboard rewards, and a new community contest, where map designers have the chance of winning exclusive NFTs.

Maximize Gold Earnings with Campfire Tiers

Wild Forest players can accumulate Gold across different Campfire tiers. Without a Lord NFT, players earn 8 Gold per hour and can store up to 600 Gold. Players with staked Lord NFTs unlock higher earnings and larger storage, depending on the tier of their Lord.

Here are the earning and storage rates for each Lord tier:

Design A Map for a Chance to Win NFTs

To celebrate the release of the Campfire feature, Wild Forest has launched a map design contest. Players are invited to create a 1v1 map, with strategic positions and competitive balance. Up to two submissions are allowed, shared on Twitter with the hashtag #LORDish.

Entries must be submitted by October 20 at 16:00 UTC, and five winners will be selected by the community and members of the Wild Forest team. The prizes are as follows:

Participants can learn more about the game, what may work best for their map designs, and creative opportunities through the Faraway Creator Suite, which offers tools to create tradable game assets in Web3 games.
