The updated system will enable players to stake or unstake their Lords at any time, promoting a more adaptable approach that benefits those who commit long-term.

The new features will be rolled out in the coming weeks, bringing various enhancements aimed at increasing player engagement and loyalty.

What is the new Lord Staking System?

The revamped Lord Staking System allows players to stake their Lords and instantly access premium game features. Unlike the previous version, the new system introduces a dynamic reward structure that increases with the length of the staking period. The longer players keep their Lords staked, the more they stand to gain.

• Increased Daily Mint Limit: Staked players can enjoy a higher daily mint limit, enabling them to collect more in-game items each day.
• Exclusive Castle Features: Based on the rarity of their staked Lord, players can unlock unique Castle features such as Training Camps, Taverns, Recruitment Camps, and Campfires.
• Enhanced Battle Pass Rewards: Staked Lords provide boosted Shard and Gold bonuses in the Battle Pass, helping players progress faster and earn more rewards.
• Early Access and Priority: Staking grants early access to new units, exclusive pre-sales, and priority for upcoming Wild Forest NFT sales and events.

Long-Term Incentives

• Castle Leasing: Players can earn additional income by leasing their Castles, receiving $WF tokens as rent.
• Reputation Boost: Extended staking periods will significantly boost a player’s reputation, elevating their status within the game.
• Increased Voting Power: Long-term stakers will gain more influence in Wild Forest’s governance, allowing them to play a larger role in shaping the game’s future through the DAO.
• Potential Guild System: Wild Forest is considering the introduction of exclusive Guilds for dedicated Lord stakers, enabling players to form teams and compete in special Guild leagues. The size and influence of these Guilds will depend on the rank of the Lord and the duration of staking.

Staking Streak Bonuses

One of the standout features of the new system is the Staking Streak Bonus, which rewards players for maintaining consistent staking habits.

As players continue to stake their Lords, they build a streak that gradually increases their benefits. These perks include higher daily mint limits, reduced training times in Training Camps, and discounted unit prices in Taverns.

The bonus starts at 0% and reaches full benefits after 30 days of continuous staking. Players can earn up to a 200% bonus over nine months, with incremental increases at three-month and six-month milestones. However, unstaking will reset these bonuses, encouraging players to maintain their streak for maximum rewards.

Transition to the New System and Community Rounds

During the transition, all currently staked Lords will retain full access to existing features until the new system is fully implemented. Current streaks will continue to accumulate, enabling players to take advantage of the new bonuses as they go live.

The phased rollout will begin with the introduction of Taverns this week, followed by Recruitment Camps and Campfires in early October. The Streak-Based Bonuses will be fully operational by the end of October, and Castle Leasing is expected to be available in November.

To recognize the commitment of long-term players, Wild Forest has allocated $600,000 for a Community Round. This will reward players who have staked their Lords for over 30 days, with larger allocations for those who have maintained a 90-day streak. Additional incentives will be provided to recent stakers based on their streak length.
