Web3 MMO Worldwide Webb Post Cryptic Tweet, June 27 Reveal

Free-to-play web3 MMO Worldwide Webb has sparked curiosity with a recent tweet hinting at a significant announcement set for June 27.

This follows a period of positive signals from the team, with weekly updates introducing new skills such as Hacking, entertaining livestreams from founder Thomas Webb, and high-production videos hitting their social feeds.

In a tweet, Thomas Webb – otherwise known as hack3r – explained that this is; “A new chapter. A new start. The next generation of MMO gaming.”

The teaser has prompted much speculation within the community, leaving players and landowners excited for next week’s reveal.

What is Worldwide Webb?

Worldwide Webb is a browser-based web3 MMO with a retro 16-bit art style.

Set in DeSat City, the game offers a rich blend of exploration, PvP and PvE experiences, alongside real-world economics, digital collectibles and wearables, and social interaction.

Currently in Early Access, Landowners – players that own one of Worldwide Webb’s 10,000 apartment NFTs, which are available to visit and customize in-game – have had multiple opportunities to playtest the game so far, with minigames such as Rugbusterz, Blockbusterz and Dungeons to enjoy offering exclusive NFT rewards.
