Metaverse platform ZTX has announced that its next $ZTX airdrop will take place in Q3 2024.
The airdrop will be available to any players that have completed in-game ZTX Challenges since April 2024, or that will do so in the coming months.
ZTX has yet to reveal the snapshot date, though players are encouraged to complete daily & weekly ZTX Challenges to be in with a chance of securing part of the forthcoming airdrop, and a share of the ongoing 5M $ZTX tokens up for grabs via their in-metaverse Arcadia tournament.
How can I take part in the next $ZTX airdrop?
Once in-game (available on PC), click on the trophy icon in the top-right of your screen. This will reveal your available ZTX Challenges. Completing these will reward you with points that increase your share of the upcoming $ZTX airdrop.
These Challenges vary from quick & easy daily tasks to more demanding, and rewarding, weekly tasks. Consistency and regular play will result in a larger share of the available $ZTX airdrop.
Previous airdrops have seen as much as 4% of the total $ZTX supply distributed to players, and with $ZTX sitting at a fully-diluted market cap nearly $100M at the time of writing, there could be huge USD amounts up for grabs.
What utility does $ZTX have?
$ZTX is used within the ZTX metaverse in several ways. It can be used to purchase in-game NFT assets, such has home decor and avatar wearables, and speed-up in-game tasks such as harvesting and crafting.
The $ZTX token can also be used to take part in the governance of ZTX, allowing holders to propose and vote on future updates to the ZTX metaverse. Previous votes have led to community-led decisions on fee structures, community treasury grants and more.
Plans are in place to add additional utility to $ZTX in future, including the ability to purchase a wider range of in-game items, explore a deeper connection to the ZTX metaverse, and more.
