US President Donald Trump is reportedly involved in the development of a cryptocurrency-based video game that mirrors elements of classic property trading games.
The project, said to blend digital real estate with blockchain infrastructure, is being led by Trump’s long-time associate Bill Zanker.
Though still under wraps, sources familiar with the game say it will allow players to move across a virtual board and earn in-game currency by acquiring and building on digital plots—mechanics similar to Monopoly Go!.

What do we know about the game so far?
Despite the comparisons, a representative for Zanker denied any formal connection to Hasbro’s Monopoly franchise. Hasbro also confirmed that it has not licensed its intellectual property for any Trump-affiliated crypto game.
Whilst the game is expected to incorporate cryptocurrency or token-based mechanics, specific information on blockchain integration has not been disclosed. A spokesperson for Zanker declined to confirm whether smart contracts, NFTs, or token rewards would be part of the gameplay.
As the launch date approaches, details remain scarce with no official announcement. Until then, the nature and extent of blockchain’s role in the game remain uncertain.

A new addition to Trump’s digital ventures
The upcoming game adds to a series of blockchain-related activities associated with the Trump family, including the release of multiple Trump-branded NFT collections. Zanker was also reportedly involved in launching the Trump-themed memecoin via an entity known as FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT LLC.
More recently, public records show that DTTM Operations—the company responsible for managing Trump’s trademarks—filed applications to extend the Trump name to a range of digital services, including NFT-related products and online marketplaces. However, it is unclear whether these filings are directly linked to the forthcoming game.
Trump also has a longstanding connection to property-themed games. In 1989, he released Trump: The Game, a board game based on real estate trading. According to one source, Zanker reached out to Hasbro in mid-2024 to inquire about re-acquiring rights to that title, but was told the company no longer held them.
