Web3 game publisher Treasure has unveiled its latest title, Warlock Paper Scissors, set to launch in early 2025.
This innovative game blends turn-based strategy with elements of battle royale and extraction gameplay. Featuring a turn-based mechanic, it emphasizes skill and tactical planning, eliminating randomness to create a more strategic experience.

What is Warlock Paper Scissors?
Warlock Paper Scissors is a 2D competitive strategy game where players vie to secure a central crystal and escape the map or eliminate all opponents to win.
The gameplay revolves around a simultaneous-turn system where all players lock in their moves at the same time. Actions are then revealed sequentially, requiring players to anticipate opponents’ strategies and think multiple steps ahead.
By removing random elements, the game prioritizes skill and thoughtful decision-making. Matches are designed to be fast-paced yet strategically engaging, featuring fantasy abilities that players can use to gain an advantage.
Blockchain Integration and Free Collectibles
Built on Treasure’s Layer 2 blockchain powered by ZKsync technology, Warlock Paper Scissors ensures scalability whilst maintaining Ethereum compatibility. The game uses the $MAGIC cryptocurrency for transactions and supports user-generated content to expand gameplay possibilities.
To celebrate its launch, Treasure is offering free collectible NFTs, called cartridges, available for minting until December 31, 2024.
