Web3 football game FIFA Rivals is set to launch globally on June 12 for iOS and Android devices.
The game will feature a multi-year licensing agreement with Adidas, bringing the sportswear brand’s digital football gear into the gameplay.
This partnership marks one of the first instances of Adidas integrating its products directly into a blockchain-based football game. Players will be able to access branded digital items such as kits, boots, and other football-related content.

What will this partnership bring?
The multi-year deal allows Adidas branding to appear within the game, including digital football kits, boot releases, and a match ball.
Players will also have access to an in-game training area featuring Adidas content. The items reflect past and current Adidas football designs.
“FIFA Rivals is all about celebrating the global passion for football in a fresh and modern way,” said John Linden, CEO and Co-founder of Mythical Games. “Bringing adidas into this world gives players a deeper cultural connection and the chance to represent one of the most iconic brands in football–on and off the pitch. This collaboration sets a new standard for how brands show up in digital experiences.”

What can we expect from FIFA Rivals at launch?
FIFA Rivals will be available for free download on iOS and Android devices, featuring short, fast-paced matches where players compete against each other in real-time.
Players build teams using officially licensed clubs and football stars. The game integrates blockchain technology to allow users to collect, trade, and sell player cards and other digital assets as NFTs.
The title has been tested in limited markets earlier this year and now prepares for a wider global release and this launch follows recent moves by FIFA to explore blockchain and digital collectibles, including plans for its own blockchain platform announced in May 2025.
