Goblintown: Really Hard Driving Game has officially launched in Early Access on both Steam and the Epic Games Store, following a series of public gameplay events, including an in-person demonstration in New York’s Union Square.
Whilst the visual style references the Goblintown NFT collection, the game does not use any blockchain features and is being marketed as a standard web2 release.
The game became available on May 7 with a two-week introductory price of $9.89. After May 14, the price will revert to its regular rate of $14.99. It is currently playable on Windows PCs, and whilst it runs on Steam Deck, the developers have noted that it is not yet optimised for the device.

What to expect from Early Access?
Goblintown: Really Hard Driving Game Early Access release includes the game’s main course, which is designed to be completed from start to finish. Players control a “wobblewagon” truck tasked with delivering a burger order through a course filled with jumps, hazards, and environmental traps. Core gameplay features include the ability to boost speed and a unique mechanic that slows time when players shout into a microphone.
The game also tracks detailed performance statistics, such as completion time, number of jumps, average and top speed, and time spent using the slow-motion function.
According to the developers, whilst the game can be completed in its current state, additional features will be added during the Early Access period. These include more tracks, character and vehicle customisation options, leaderboards, and new biomes with additional obstacles.

What’s next for Goblintown?
The game’s full release is expected before the end of 2025, although the timeline may change depending on player feedback during the Early Access phase. Future updates are planned to expand the game’s content and improve gameplay stability.
Meanwhile, the developers continue to promote the title through in-person events. Appearances are planned at PAX East in Boston and DreamHack in Dallas later this year, where visitors will have another opportunity to try the game.
Despite its visual ties to the Goblintown NFT collection, there are no blockchain integrations in the game. The Goblintown collection, launched in May 2022 as a free mint on Ethereum, remains active on NFT marketplaces, but the game and NFT projects operate independently, with separate development teams and Discord communities.
