Web3 strategy game Heroes of Mavia has announced that they will be minting Land NFTs this October, offering new rewards, increased Ruby earnings, and exclusive event access.
These Land NFTs – which will be minted on the Base blockchain – will add a range of new features and utility to the Heroes of Mavia game, with the rarity level of the Land impacting Ruby reward multipliers and tiers of access to future content.
The exact date for the Land NFT mint has yet to be announced, though holders are set to form the core of the Heroes of Mavia community, and will play a big part in its growing ecosystem.
What benefits will Land NFT holders receive?
Land NFTs will come in three different rarities: Common Land, Rare Land, and Legendary Land.
Each of these rarity tiers will impact the amount of Ruby earned per battle, with a 200% multiplier for Common Land, 257.14% for Rare Land, and 350% for Legendary Land. Daily limits on Ruby earnings are also boosted by holding Land NFTs: 300% for Common, 450% for Rare, and 700% for Legendary.
For every additional Land NFT a player holds (up to 10), additional bonuses will stack, granting even higher earning rates and earning limits.
On top of this, Land NFT holders will get early access to future NFT mints, will be able to stake their NFTs (starting in November 2024) for specific in-game boosts, and will be able to vote on future NFT releases.
Will Heroes of Mavia support Land renting?
In short, yes.
Land NFT holders will be able to rent their NFTs out to other players, allowing them to earn a passive income by doing so. A partnership system – similar to scholarships in titles such as Axie Infinity – will also be introduced, allowing Land to be worked by non-holders for a share of the rewards.
A four-phase rollout is anticipated for the introduction of Land rentals and partnerships, though an exact timeline on when these phases will commence and be released is yet to be made public.
