Web3 sandbox MMO Machiavellic has entered Season 0.1 of the game, titled The Dawn of Conflict, offering $6,000 USD in blockchain-based rewards.
Built on Cardano and the WAX blockchain, and available on PC and MAC, Machiavellic sees players take part in sci-fi PvP combat, where resource management is key to survival.
The $6,000 USD in rewards available during Season 0.1 include a range of valuable NFTs, in-game resources, and fungible tokens, all earned through gameplay.
Season 0.1 is currently ongoing, with an end date yet to be announced.
What is Machiavellic?
In Machiavellic, players command a set of officers to take part on a variety of PVP raids.
Each officer is equipped with a range of weaponry, used to take down enemy officers and raid convoys for a variety of valuable assets.
Decisions made during gameplay have a lasting impact on the ecosystem as a whole, with political manoeuvring equally as important as in-battle skill in achieving long-term success.
What else has debuted in Season 0.1?
Season 0.1 has introduced Daily Events, offering regular challenges and rewards to keep players coming back for more.
The development team has also revealed that particular in-game convoys will hold special rewards if captured, such as exclusive NFTs. This has already seen assets such as Cardano OG Passes rewarded to players, with many more on the way.
To play Machiavellic, players must currently hold an Officer Commission Pass NFT – costing $35 USD on the official store – and at least $150 USD in ADA. Once complete, players can register on their website and connect a wallet that supports either the Cardano or the WAX blockchains to enter.
