Anime-themed gaming ecosystem Avarik Saga has announced a collaboration with Virtuals Protocol to create advanced AI agents that can play video games, livestream, and interact with live audiences.
This initiative also brings Avarik Saga’s $AVRK token to Virtuals Protocol, enabling its integration into the platform’s AI and blockchain ecosystem.
By combining AI capabilities with anime-inspired gaming, the project seeks to enhance player engagement and explore new ways of delivering interactive entertainment.

What is Avarik Saga?
Avarik Saga is a gaming platform centered around anime aesthetics and blockchain technology.
Its ecosystem includes an upcoming mobile RPG Red Convenant. The offers players a free-to-play experience, combining strategic real-time combat with a rich narrative set in a fantasy world.
Players can form teams, progress through the story, and interact with these characters. The interaction isn’t limited to in-game dialogues—players can also communicate with AI-powered Forsaken characters through messaging platforms like Telegram, making gameplay more dynamic and personalised.
In addition, Avarik Saga utilises its native cryptocurrency, the $AVRK token, which supports the ecosystem’s blockchain-based elements. The token was previously available on Arbitrum but is now integrated into Virtuals Protocol, making it accessible on the Base blockchain.

What to expect from this partnership?
The collaboration between Avarik Saga and Virtuals Protocol focuses on developing AI agents capable of livestreaming video games and interacting with viewers. These agents will be designed as anime-inspired VTuber characters and will broadcast gameplay around the clock on platforms like Twitch, providing live commentary, respond to audience chat, and create an interactive viewing experience.
The AI agents will also be incorporated into Red Covenant as in-game companions and conversational partners. By leveraging large language models (LLMs), these AI characters will offer responsive and context-aware interactions allowing players to to bond with the AI characters potentially unlocking new content and storylines.
In a demonstration, an AI agent provided live commentary for the 2024 Dota 2 Grand Finals, highlighting its capability to analyse and narrate gaming events. Whilst the specific games these agents will stream or play are yet to be confirmed, the project aims to explore both recreational and competitive gaming applications.
