Today, R-Planet Conquest, the mobile military Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game created by R-Planet developers WECAN, entered its Open Alpha phase. 3,000 players can enter the Alpha2 server, with registration available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Players will build and develop a network of military bases, create armies, form alliances and fight against rivals, with the ultimate goal of outlasting the competition to be one of the final 100 survivors.
How Can I Play R-Planet Conquest?
R-Planet Conquest is available on both the Apple Store and the Google Play store.
Once downloaded, players will choose one of three factions: Masterminds, known for their fast battle drones and transporters; Warriors, famed for their powerful combat drones and large numbers of builders; or Renegades, skilled in thievery and hacking.
Players then select a location on the 100×100 map for their starting base. All participants will be shielded by a protective dome for the first 4 days, allowing time for players to develop their bases and armies before PVP combat is enabled.
What New Features Are Available?
An all-new in-game messaging system has been implemented for the Open Alpha, allowing players to communicate with both friends and rivals in game.
Players can now form or join alliances, giving them access to a private in-game chat. The in-game map will show members of your alliance, allied alliances, and hostile alliances. Alliance members will be notified when fellow members are under attack, and can choose to send reinforcements to aid their defence, and alliance owners or assistants can also invite players to relocate their base to an area within allied territory.
Additionally, new purchasable NFTs have been added to speed up gameplay, with one-time use assets such as additional foundations, instant completion of buildings and upgrades, instant delivery of resources, and 24-hour protection now available.
Anything Else I Should Know?
To create a level playing field, a daily limit on unpacking robot NFTs – used to build bases and armies – has been implemented, with the limit increasing in-line with the level of the player’s Nexus, their initial base building.
Players can capture or establish a maximum of 10 bases. Server stats – such as the player with the most active droids, most successful defences and most successful attacks – will be available for all players to view. Be careful you don’t place a target on your back!
In-game resources can be traded for as prizes, with players able to collect additional resources with each new server that’s created.
