The team behind Pixels, a popular play-to-earn farming game on Ronin, have revealed a spin-off title called Pixel Dungeons, which is available to play now.
Pixel Dungeons is a dungeon crawler title that sees players race against the clock to collect as much $PIXEL as they can – whilst avoiding other players and goblins that roam the map.
The game is officially in open beta, though is open and available to all.

What is Pixel Dungeons?
Pixel Dungeons is a dungeon crawler mining game, built on Ronin.
Developed by the team behind Web3 farming MMO Pixels, Pixel Dungeons is a spin-off experience that sees players gather the ecosystem-wide $PIXEL token by mining nodes on a multiplayer map. Lay explosives to combat the evil goblins, or target your fellow players to steal their $PIXEL before time runs out!
In less than 6 hours since the game’s launch on December 17, over 100,000 $PIXEL has been gathered so far – worth over $21,000 USD.

What does this mean for the Pixels ecosystem?
Pixels is arguably the biggest Web3 game in the world right now.
Since migrating from Polygon to Ronin in November 2023, the game has exploded in popularity. Today, it boasts over 5 million players and over 180,000 daily active users, making it one of the most active Web3 games out there.
The $PIXEL token is at the core of the Pixels ecosystem. With Pixel Dungeons, players can earn $PIXEL tokens outside of the main Pixels MMO for the first time, which will no doubt spurn a flurry of excitement amongst the community.
As of writing, $PIXEL is valued at $0.2129 USD, with a market cap of over $250 million USD and a fully-diluted value of over $1 billion USD.
