Tatsumeeko, a free-to-play life simulation JRPG developed by Tatsu Works, is gearing up to join the Ronin Network.
The game is recognized for blending turn-based combat with social simulation elements, and this integration with Ronin is expected to introduce new features and broaden its audience.
As part of this partnership, Tatsumeeko will roll out its ecosystem, featuring both the casual Telegram game Lumina Hunt and the full RPG experience, Lumina Fates.
What is Tatsumeeko?
Tatsumeeko is a life-simulation RPG created by Tatsu Works, set in the magical world of Ielia. The game combines traditional RPG elements with cozy life-simulation mechanics.
Players step into the role of an Awakener, fighting enemies in strategic, turn-based battles, completing various quests, and designing their homes.
The game caters to both casual players and RPG enthusiasts through its unique mix of strategic gameplay and life-simulation activities.
The Tatsumeeko ecosystem consists of two main products: Lumina Hunt, a more casual and idle version of the game, and Lumina Fates, which offers the full JRPG experience. These products form the core of the Tatsumeeko ecosystem, offering both competitive and casual gameplay within a 2.5D world.
Key Components of the Tatsumeeko Ecosystem:
- Lumina Hunt: This casual, idle game on Telegram lets players capture creatures known as Lumins, send them on expeditions, and earn an off-chain currency called Vabloons. These Vabloons are expected to be exchangeable for $TATSU tokens, which will have a significant role in the game’s economy. Lumina Hunt is slated to launch on the Ronin Network by the end of 2024, becoming the first Telegram game integrated with Ronin.
- Tatsu.GG: A Discord-based platform with idle RPG elements and collection features. It connects with over 1.5 million Discord communities, enabling players to collect and trade resources across various games.
- Lumina Fates: This is the main game in the Tatsumeeko universe, offering a life-simulation RPG experience, where players can control their characters, customize their appearance, and explore the world of Ielia. The game is expected to undergo closed and open beta testing by the end of 2024. As part of the Ronin integration, players will be able to trade in-game items like gear and furniture as NFTs.
What this partnership means
With the integration of Tatsumeeko into the Ronin Network, players will soon have access to Lumina Hunt, where they can capture Lumins and send them on expeditions to earn Vabloons.
These off-chain points will eventually be exchangeable for $TATSU tokens, which are crucial to the Tatsumeeko ecosystem. Players will be rewarded for their Lumins’ success on missions and can gain additional points through leaderboards and referrals.
This partnership will introduce new opportunities for both casual and competitive players, including the launch of tradeable NFTs, further expanding Tatsumeeko’s ecosystem.
Ronin continues to grow its gaming portfolio, which already includes popular titles like Forgotten Runiverse and Ragnarok: Monster World.
