Popular metaverse game The Sandbox has announced a partnership with Cirque du Soleil that will headline their upcoming Alpha Season 6 release.
The in-game launch – which has yet to see a confirmed date – will see two Cirque du Soleil-based experiences make their debut in The Sandbox. The first of these will be LUZIA; a celebration of Mexican culture and one of Cirque du Soleil’s most captivating stage shows since its debut in 2016.
Alongside these immersive experiences, players will be able to obtain brand-new themed avatars, collectibles and assets, both directly from these experiences, and via The Sandbox Marketplace.

What is The Sandbox?
The Sandbox is a free-to-play Web3 metaverse game, built on Ethereum, and available on PC.

How are The Sandbox and Cirque du Soleil working together?
As part of this collaboration, two official Cirque du Soleil experiences will become available in The Sandbox – including LUZIA – during Alpha Season 6, which is set to debut soon.
Alongside this, players will be able to earn and acquire official collaborative Avatars, collectibles, assets and more.
